The Reasons
My standard size chair will easily fit 9 out of 10 very comfortably. It is more than
adequate for everyone under normal usage. There are plenty of cottages and camps
here in the Finger Lakes and Adirondacks that have six, to a dozen or more on the beach
and around the fire pit. I get nothing but compliments ( and a few more orders! ).
Given that, there are still times when more is needed. So if your project for the day is the
Sunday New York Times, including the book review and the crossword puzzle; you'd do
good to have a fitted chair. A half inch here and a couple of degrees there can make all
the difference in the world. And if the standard chair is still the best for you, well and good,
you saved 50 bucks.
If you're buying for someone important to you ,5' 0" 110 lbs, to 6' 3" 250 lbs., I'll help
you with the sizing.

USE IT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE
I recently sold a grouping for a local lake cottage. There were 8 chairs and a Grand Lodge Table. Two of the chairs were for the end of the dock; a chair & 1/2 and a single. Both were tall frame and reclined back, as the owners are tall and wanted to have that spot to relax. The other 6 were for the fire pit area. They were regular frame for general usage, and upright back to facilitate interaction and conversation.
